Presidio Trust / US National Park Service Feasibility Study
Architect: Studio Gang Architects
The Presidio National Trust in cooperation with the National Park Service and Friends of the Presidio wanted to understand what a new land bridge built by CALTRANS would mean for the national historic site, and if it could offer a new home for a visitor center.
The feasibility study mapped the "new land" and offered options for programming, land use, and relocating the visitor center for better visibility and access. The new land is located above Crissy Field, one of the most beloved locations in San Francisco and hosts some of the most breathtaking views of the Bay.
